    Own GTA V on PC

FiveM needs a legal copy of Grand Theft Auto V on PC, from Steam, Epic, or the Rockstar Launcher. Console copies and borrowed accounts will not connect.

    Install FiveM

Download the FiveM client, sign in with the same Rockstar account that owns GTA, and let it finish the first launch before you try to join.

    Join the Discord

Announcements, whitelist replies, and staff tickets start there. Read the pinned messages before you ask a question that is already answered.

    You can skip the application

Underground is public. Read the rules, then connect. A whitelist is not the same thing as a free pass to ignore them.

    Connect to the city

Search PGN Underground in FiveM, use the join code b7o57p, or press Open FiveM below. If the city is full, use the queue instead of reconnecting in a loop.

    Play a civilian first

Police, EMS, and DOJ are applied for. Spawning into a uniform you were not given is a fast way to get removed. Start as a person who lives in the city.

Before you spawn

  • Pick a name that fits the city. Joke names get you remembered for the wrong reason.
  • Read the rules once, all the way through, before your first scene.
  • Set your microphone. Proximity voice is how scenes work.
  • Stay a civilian until a department accepts you.
  • If you die, that scene is over. Don't come back for revenge.
  • When something breaks, report the player or open a Discord ticket. Don't hold court in chat.

Rule basics

The six that get people removed

Full rules

No RDM

Shooting someone needs a scene. Spawn killing and random deathmatch are how people get removed.

No VDM

A car is not a weapon unless the scene already made it one. Don't run people over to win an argument.

Value your life

If you would not risk it in real life, don't tank it for a clip. Fear is part of the scene.

No metagaming

Discord, streams, and other characters' knowledge stay out of the scene. Play what this character knows.

No powergaming

You don't decide the other person's outcome. Offer the action. Let them respond.

New life rule

After you die and respawn, that scene is over. You don't remember who did it or where it happened.
